Hole #1 (Par 5)

Description
A very playable dog-leg right across that features a water hazard and a green that is flanked by a grass on one side and a sand bunker on the other.

Strategy
From all tee boxes, distance is secondary. You need to remain in the fairway or you could get yourself in trouble early on. Blue Tee players: keep your driver in your bag. A shorter wood is your safest choice.

Description
A dog-leg left that lies over Salt Creek, this hole can be a success for players from all tee boxes.

Strategy
Choose the right distance club and aim your shot to land just short of the fairway bunker for best results. A Blue Tee player’s tee shot should be no longer than 230 yards for the most effective position.

Hole #3 (Par 4)

Description
A dog-leg right that’s flanked by hazards on both sides: a pond to the right and wetlands to the left.

Strategy
Use the clubs you KNOW you can control. A straight shot off the tee, a second shot to clear a small ditch, and a third shot should get you to the green.

Hole #4 (Par 4)

Description
Play this dog-leg right hole nice and easy.

Strategy
Aim toward the green sprinkler box with your tee shot, and you’ll be rewarded with an open fairway for a good shot to the green.

Hole #5 (Par 4)

Description
A dead-on straight hole where you have to drive up a hill.

Strategy
If you can drive up the fairway, you’ll be in good shape. As you approach, if you think you may miss the green, play short. Fly a shot over the green and you risk being in the pond on the left or in the woods on the right.

Hole #6 (Par 4)

Description
Slight dog-leg right down the hill to a bunkered, two-tiered green.

Strategy
Aim your teel shot down the right center of the fairway for the best approach to this tough-lying green.

Hole #7 (Par 3)

Description
Don’t let the shorter distance hole fool you. This is a tough hole that doles out some punishment for the slightest error.

Strategy
Depending on your tee box, you’ll need from 100 to 165 yards to clear the wetlands. And, if you’ve got a north wind, the hole plays even longer.

Hole #8 (Par 5)

Description
If the last hole didn’t ruffle your feathers, this daunting hole will challenge even the most even-temperered players. A double dog-leg over the wetlands? We double-dog dare you to get too aggressive on this hole.

Strategy
Long hitters have a couple of choices to play this hole with success. For your second shot, a long wood leaves you a short shot into the narrow green. Choose to lay up, and you’ve got to play a long-iron shot for your third shot. For standard and short hitters, three or four well-placed shots will do the trick.

Hole #9 (Par 3)

Description
If the view doesn’t take your breath away, your success on this very playable hole should leave you breathless.

Strategy
Pot bunkers on either side of the green and the pond are your only worries. Straight shots and great puts will be rewarded.
